From part to drawing – and back to the part.
We combine reverse engineering, cost engineering and manufacturing in one continuous process. The result is not a data set, but an inspected, ready-to-install part.
Reverse engineering
When documentation is missing, the part itself is the specification. We capture it completely and turn it into a production-ready design.
- Part analysis: function, loads, installation and wear pattern
- 3D digitisation and measurement of the geometry
- Material identification and selection of suitable substitute materials
- Reconstruction of worn or damaged areas to nominal geometry
- 3D CAD model and 2D drawing set with tolerances, surfaces and material specifications
Cost engineering
We determine costs before they arise. Cost engineering is an integral part of every project – not an afterthought in pricing.
You receive a reliable calculation for engineering, first article and series part before engineering begins.
- Manufacturing cost calculation per part and assembly
- Process comparison, e.g. milled versus cast part depending on quantity
- Batch sizes and price scales for one-off demand, stocking and framework call-offs
- Design to cost: cost-optimised design without compromising function or service life
- Cost comparison of remanufacturing, refurbishment and stocking
Manufacturing & assembly
We manufacture everything from single parts to complete assemblies – in the quantity you need and with documented inspection.
- Turned parts in steel, stainless steel and brass
- Milled parts in aluminium and steel
- Gravity and pressure die casting in aluminium and zinc
- Plastic parts in engineering plastics
- Assemblies fully assembled and tested
Obsolescence management
We secure the spare parts supply for your fleet across its entire life cycle – proactively instead of in an emergency.
- Risk assessment: which parts are discontinued or at risk, and which are critical for operation?
- Replacement strategy per part: remanufacture, redesign, refurbishment or stocking
- Stocking of parts and assemblies for fast availability
- Call-off deliveries as you need them
Repair & overhaul
Not every part needs to be manufactured again. Where it is more economical, we refurbish existing components.
- Drives, locks and assemblies for telescopic rails
- Repair of Dunker motors for door controls in buses and trains
- Redesign of very old assemblies
